During lunch, a friend told me that he was going to add pearl handle grips to his Colt 1911 80 series stainless. I reminded him of General Patton's quote about his pistol grips, "They're ivory. Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl handled pistol."
I think my friend is going to rethink the pearl grips idea.
