Who Is Watching The Babies?

OK, here I go my friends, if you watched KFDM 10 P.M. news on Sunday night then you saw this fiasco. There was a disturbance at Manning’s Skating Rink on College Street in Beaumont, a fight broke out, police officer working the rink needed backup. On Saturday night, Beaumont PD was handing out lollipops and pepper spray, by the time they arrived at Manning’s, they were all out of lollipops. Four adults and 5 juveniles were arrested and hauled off to jail. Now the mother and father (I use those terms loosely) are bitching on the 10 o’clock news that "These are babies. This is not a high school or a college or an adult event. These are 13 and younger that is going skating. You don't spray at children and don't pepper spray children. That is abuse," Well, Mrs. Mother, where in the hell were you? You dropped off four kids ranging in ages from 8 to 12 years young, so you should’ve been there watching these "babies." Then the father (I use that term loosely) is gripping about how he took an ass whipping from the pooolice. Well Buddy, that is what the pooolice is good at doing. He is lucky that the police officers didn’t taser his butt, just ask this guy who is now an advocate for taking a police ass whipping over tasers.

Now over the years, I took my kids to Manning’s for birthday parties and afternoon skating but never left them to fair for themselves. It’s called being a responsible parent and until people wake up to the fact that you can’t drop off your kids and let someone baby-sit them, then this world isn’t going to get any better.
